Has everyone made their garden map? Come spring the garden looks very different than we remember. After accidentally accidentally digging up a few perennials in the garden I started making a map. Fall is also a great time to make notes about what worked and didn't work in the garden and the changes you want to make in the Spring. I've provided a sample page from a map I created in Word for a garden I planted at a new house. Please share some of your ideas for mapping and planning your garden.

Despite the cooling weather, there are still plenty of things to do in Alberta. Many of the garden centers in my book offer year-round shopping, Christmas light displays, events and classes. Check them out!
